If you`ve ever dreamed about being alone on a deserted island with a gorgeous sandy beach - Sandy Spit is your place. This tiny island near Jost Van Dyke is completely encircled by perfect sand, has a few shrubs and palm trees, and... that`s it! The magic of Sandy Spit is that it is all about the wonder of a deserted island that lures you in to hang out on the beach and then swim back to your boat.
Sandy Spit offers some excellent snorkeling - beautiful fan coral waving back and forth in the waves and plenty of colorful fish such as parrot fish. Just put your fins and snorkel on at the beach and swim toward the coral and you'll be quickly there.
Sandy Spit is a day destination. We recommend stopping by on your way to Jost Van Dyke for lunch and a swim. Stay as long as you like, saving up your energy for Foxy's that night!
