Jost Van Dyke Island, BVI
The beautiful and largely undisturbed BVI island of Jost Van Dyke is home to gorgeous beaches, excellent anchorages, undisturbed wilderness and... two of the most famous beach bar/restaurants in the world - Foxy's and the Soggy Dollar Bar. The island is only four miles long, and is truly a "barefoot" island that promotes a casual lifestyle. The beach at White Bay is certainly one of the world's most beautiful.
Jost Van Dyke is close to popular destinations such as Sandy Spit and Sandy Cay, and just a few minutes sail from west Tortola.
Charterers tend to sail around the BVI in a counter clockwise direction, which makes Jost Van Dyke the last major island stop. Fittingly, in many ways the island saves the best for last - and you are ready for its pace and attractions after you've visited the other islands. The simple pleasure of spending the afternoon socializing with new found friends or relaxing in a hammock is what Jost is all about!
